Pupil Council

Underbank Primary Pupil Council
The Pupil Council at Underbank Primary School meet on a regular basis to discuss school improvement and take forward any issues raised by staff and pupils. The committee consists of representatives from each class who are selected by their peers to represent their class.
Pupil Council members agree meeting agendas, gather information and opinions from their peers and take responsibility for initiatives that improve the running of their school. For example, our Pupil Council are involved in agreeing how to best spend the participatory budget within our Pupil Equity Funding. Due to the hard work and dedication of our Pupil Council, all pupils’ voices in our school are heard and considered.
